I have been grooming my schnoodle and my poodle who passes last year for about 3 years. Not perfect but he looks pretty good. All of a sudden I can't do his ears and topknot connection correctly. He has very fine hair on his head and now the sides of his topknot stick out. I can't really determine where to start with the top. I feel like I have cut too much and need to grow some of the top out to blend in. Any suggestions?

I use scissors on his face and head. Will try to post picture

It looks longer than it really is. I usually do better than this- I either need to grow out those areas on side sticking up or cut off
