We have a 14 week old Goldendoodle and he LOVES to eat his Blue Buffalo Lamb & Oatmeal. However, He will eat so fast that he doesn't really chew and sometimes throws up whole food after.

We have tried a few things: putting a kong toy/bowl in his dish, feed him with a slow feeder bowl, space his food out on a tray, feed him in small amounts etc. I thought for sure one of these would have worked but after a couple times he outsmarts my system. Any ideas? Thanks!

Could be eating too fast. I'd have your vet check of megaesophogus, though. You can also try handfeeding his meals as treats for training, or a food dispensing toy.

I made these two food dispensing toys in about 10 minutes with a dremel tool, 2 feet of 1 1/2" PVC and four end caps. The first one is easy, they push it along with their nose and eat as they go. The second is a little tricker but not by much.
