I had previously posted about my 16 month old German Shepard: http://www.dogforums.com/dog-health-questions/111785-16-month-old-german.html

The visit to the hospital yesterday was not very well. All they could say was that her white blood cell count was still very high and she is unable to make red blood cells on her own. They said that she hasn't responded to any on the antibiotics they've given her. She seemed so good when we saw her yesterday. She was happy and running around and alert. Today was the first day they suggested euthanising her. We said absolutly not. They kept telling us she wasn't suffering but if she gets better then she's just going to get sick again and not live a long life. We've put 3000$ into this in the past 3 weeks and were not going to give up. We said we wanted to bring her home. They said she seemed fine yesterday because her body had adjusted. They said that her immune system wasn't working properly. She's very anemic but they won't give her iron cause she's already on alot of meds. They said that I can't find the initial infection do they can't treat it. Does anyone know of anything that we can possibly do?? They said they can do a blood transfusion but it'll only make her better for a few days but if she has a few days of being healthy then maybe she can bounce back some! Please help she is everything to us. Please pray for Marley. She's our baby.

My prayers are with all of you. I am so sorry you are going through this difficult situation. I have just been through a situation where nothing more could be done. I understand.
Did they test for Lyme, Anaplasmosis and Erlichia? Also, Babesiosis- http://www.2ndchance.info/babesia.htm
