What type of clipper are you using? i use to shave Koda, but the only ones we were able to ever get was Walsh...safe to say they lasted each time for about half a cut.

Shhhh! .... don't tell anyone .... they are human Wahl Clippers.

Also I do much scissoring first. Human clippers get dull quickly. I only use them when I want to take him down to a "very" short cut.

I normally trim the hair between Koda's eyes and nose ....and his bum with my dads scissors..he doesnt know and if he did i'd be hung! LOL
