My dog has very bad allergies and is currently getting 2 medicated baths a week (Ketachlor). Is this going to be a problem with a topical flea treatment? I know it is supposed to be waterproof, but 2 baths a week is probably not what they have in mind....

Because he has sensitivities to insect bites, especially fleas, I am concerned about using Sentinal because it doesn't actually kill fleas and prevent them from biting. But because he allergic to, basically, the outdoors in spring, he isn't in the grass much anyway....

Does anyone have experience with this?

I believe baths are ok 72 hrs after topical applications, but I would just call the number on the package and talk to the company. They should have that information and be able to advise you! Twice weekly baths might not be what they had in mind, but some dogs go swimming all the time in the summer so surely there's some sort of precedence for water exposure.
