It says it kills fleas, but nothing about flea eggs or larvae. The fleas we visually see are just the tip of the iceberg!
I'd call your vet to be sure and if he says ok, make sure you get a quality product. Either something from your vet or (Advantix, Advantage or Frontline) from the pet store. You'll just be wasting your money and possibly harming your dogs skin with any of the cheaper stuff including shampoos and flea collars.
