I have a 5 year old female husky that has been fixed for 3 years. About every 5 to 6 months she starts giving off a scent and my 2 males are constantly trying to breed her. She is not receptive, and the boys have the scars to prove it. I've spoken with the veterinarian that did the surgery and he says that it is normal.
I would like to see if the consensus is unanimous. And is this going to affect her in anyway?

Both times I asked, I was told that everything came out. So if they missed some of the ovarian tissue, it is possible to get this side effect?
Something I failed to post in here, was that it lasts about 6 weeks.

Thanks for the information. We've since moved and next time i take her in I'll have her looked at. Thanks again
