Hello my name is Sam and I am new to this forum. I have recently adopted a new puppy (Rogo) and I'm trying to figure out what his breed is. My vet thinks he is a Lab Mix. I think he might have some German in him. I would love to hear all suggestions. Please help!

I see doberman or hound. Not sure what else. It will be easier to tell when he's older. I'm not really seeing lab or GSD.

His paws look oddly Basset Hound-ish. It's hard to tell from the pics---is he short-legged?

I do see a lot of hound of some type. Of course every mutt is a Lab mix , but I don't really see Lab either. Hard to say, though.

After looking at some Dobermans online I'm pretty convinced that he might have some in him. I really don't know if his legs are short, they seem proportioned to his body witch is pretty long for being only 11 weeks old. The ears make me think he is mixed and yes his paws are abnormally large.

He is a lovely for sure!! I see hound and maybe dobe. He does have thick pads on his feet like Bassets and Bloodhounds. Perhaps black and tan Coonhound in him.

I see black and tan coonhound. This is a purebred bnt coonhound puppy.

Daschund.

Daschund usually have a longer body with shorter legs, while a basset hound has exaggerated ears like a rabbit.

I agree with the other posters, your dog looks Hound/Dobie mix to me too. Cute dog though and welcome to the forum.

Black and tan pups usually make people scream "doberman" so I'm always a little hesitant to say dobe. I thought that maybe I saw some in his face but then I made the first picture larger and those thoughts went away. His feet are definitely not doberman-ish, that's either very poor breeding and/or a different breed.

What's his age and weight?

Rogo is a great name. Those are some feet on him! He's cute for sure. What a pal. I agree, probably some **** hound. Maybe mixed with lab?
