My husband and I just adopted our first baby! We adopted a 5 month old 7 years ago, and he passed away suddenly last October from an internal mass rupturing. We were devistated as he was only 7 years old! We love and miss our Bogie. The hole that he left was ready to be filled, and we had talked about getting a puppy (8-12 weeks) for over a year now so we decided to do it. So, a about a week ago we got Mickey! He is now 9.5 weeks old. He is wonderful. I am so happy. This whole puppy training thing is new to us, and we have a lot to learn, but we are ready! He is a German/Australian Sheperd & Lab mix. We are looking forward to all the info and advice all the peple on this site have to offer!
