IT IS!!!! IT'S A DREAM!!!

Callahan LOVES it when I clip his nails and especially when I file them down . He is such a ham and just eats up all the pampering and loving. I need to have someone help me get a video of me clipping them, sometimes he sits up and hands me his paw, and just watches me do it. Haha, and sometimes he does that whole drama looking thing LOL! *The way the women do it in the movies when they are in the nail salons!* LOL!

I'm sooooo tempted to paint his nails for St. Patty's day... but James would have my head on a platter! LOL!

All I have to say is.. NOT FAIR. Marge squirms like a worm when I dremel her nails. It takes either a frozen kong or a bullystick to keep her reasonably still. I dread the days that I need to do her nails!! You sure ar lucky to have a dog who loves a good manicure.

oh nessa that is to funny. i love the tail wag in the 1st video!! bellos nails are solid black and i always manage to cut the quick so i go to pet smart and they cut and dremmel them for 10 bucks + it gives me a reason to go and get his snackies!!

When I used to use nail clippers, it was a constant battle of wits. Someone always get hurt. Not the dogs. ME. Either a bruise from being pawed in the head or scratched by their sharp nails. Cain runs away as soon as he sees me holding the nail clipper. Xena is the only one who loves having her nails done. But she is a girl so...

I am currently using PEDIPAWS. It is much easier for us. Especially for me. Although my only complain is that pedipaw makers seems to only think about the "small-medium" dogs with soft nails when they made it. It takes about 5 mins per nail. Once they get used to it, I might buy a battery operated dremmel.

Im glad CALLAHAN doesn't fight it. LOL! He is such a good boy!!!

Amazing how people think that it would be SOOOO hard for us gals to do that ourselves, isn't it--it's MUCh harder to do a little doggies nails, IMO lol

Noooo waaaay! It's unbelievable that Call actually just lays down and let you do that. No way! Lennox will not even let me grab his paws. He absolutely hates it. We bought a nail grinder loooong time ago and he never let me use it. As soon as I come up to him with the grinder, he runs away. It took him a while to let me clean his ears (he still hates it but at least he let me do the job) but I really don’t think he will ever let me grind or clip his nails.

Nubs use to be like that. I'd bring the nail clippers out and we would start doing the "run around mom" dance as I tried to catch him. It was like I was gonna kill the poor guy with the nail clippers. You can tell his past owners let his nails really go. His quiks are sooooo long that even after I've clipped them as short as I feel I can, they still don't look clipped.

Today was the first time EVER that Nubs didn't even try to fight me while I clipped his nails. I was SHOCKED. He just gave me his paws and sat there with out even a small fight. Even his back paws he just rolled over and enjoyed the belly rub and let me do his nail... Persistence pays I guess!

Callahan is just too cute! Your are so lucky to have him

Thanks Chrissy. Nah, Lennox is pretty much daddy's boy. He definitely likes women though. He just doesn't like to be touched on his nails for some reason. I really don't know why. He actually lets the groomer guys do the job at the groomer's (He still struggles though) but he will never let me do it at home.

That's awesome! How did you make it happen? Persistence... I don't know. Lennox is unbelievably stubborn. Making him do something he doesn’t wanna do is such a challenge.
