Mine like the Charlee Bear treats, but pretty much anything from their kibble to cheese will work.

I use cheese the most but sometimes use bits of cooked chicken, have used hot dog pieces. IMO soft treats are better because the dog swallows them quickly. Hard treats they're inclined to chew, and if the treat crumbles, then they want to search for the pieces.

Oh, I realized you asked the dog's favorite, not just what others use. I doubt if my dogs have a favorite. They're Rottweilers. They get excited over anything edible and some things that aren't.
I think my late Ilka would have worked for dirt, if I'd been the one giving it to her.

My dog is quite picky with low food drive. She really likes those mini Zuke's though. I've had good luck with all of the flavours she has tried so far, but she really likes the peanut butter ones.

I like the "tricky trainers" brand.. my dogs gotta like em but also I need to like them too. I don't like a mess.. I like turkey breast because its easy to pull apart, same with chicken as well.

This old school dog biscuit ranks low for its training value but works good enough to keep Bosco busy while i'm trying to eat my favorite treats in peace... :sneaky:
Around here, those are crate cookies. Well, the Mini sized ones are, anyway. Every time they go in their crates, they get a cookie. Yes, even at nine and seven, they get cookies for going in their crates.
