My elderly Jack Russell terrier has started breathing very rapidly - what we call huffing and puffing. It's more than just panting.
Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? Apart from this, she's perfectly OK - runs around, eats well, plays with younger dogs etc.

Could be a sign of an underlying issue. A Vet visit is probably a good course of action. Have her checked for heart worms or lung congestion
