My puppy is a golden/shepherd mix.
She is 6 months old and 45 lbs
How much exercise should she get?
Could I over exercise her and wreck her joins such as her hip joints?
As of now, I walk her in the morning for about 20 to 30 minutes.
I also walk her in the evening also for about 20 to 30 minutes.
Thanks

That sounds about right. I believe the rule of the thumb is 5 minutes every month. But, there are some exceptions,I think. When I got Bentley he was 6 months. We would walk for 45 minutes and then an hour of off-leash exercise. LOTS of swimming also.

At 6 months, you want to avoid too much running, especially over hard surfaces like pavement, and too much jumping. Walking, especially on grass, is fine, as is swimming, which is a great exercise that doesn't stress the joints. (Not all dogs like to swim, though.)
