Welcome to DF. You will get very good advice here on our forum from members that have a lot of experience with dog training.
Pick a good time for you and start with simple easy to learn basic commands using treat and a lot of praise. Things will go slow to start with as your new dog bonds with you and family. Keep training fun for both you and new dog.
