I've never known a dog that actually went out of his way to smell flowers, everything they can find yes, just flowers no. Nubs LOVES to just walk around and smell the different flowers in the yard. The last few times I've had him outside off leash in my parents yard (Great recall and listens even when another dog is walking down the street YAY!) he'll walk along the gardens and smell every flower he comes by then stand there and look at them. He never chews on them, just looks and smells. Kind of odd...
