Hi all. I have a pug puppy, Cali. She is 4mo old, 2.5 lbs. since getting her Oct 30, she has already been through parvo treatment and now we found out she has EPI. We just got her enzymes and I am realizing this is quite the process. Does anyone have an EPI dog that can offer assistance?

There are EPI groups that can help. Some of these groups can also help with obtaining pancreatic enzymes or raw (beef) pancreas for less money.

Check Facebook and do a google search.

As part of getting the dog showing symptoms of EPI they can also suffer from Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO).

The dog I am most familiar with that was diagnosed with EPI is fed a raw diet. What helped her SIBO was green tripe. The owner hss been trying to get raw pancreas.

FWIW the dog is doing much better.

I wish you much luck and hope you can find a group that will help you!!

Thank you for the response. This has definitely been quite the journey. I have tried to get into EPI groups, it’s not as easy when you are not on Facebook. But I will keep trying. Everyday is something new to try/figure out, from food, treats, enzymes, all of it! But thank you, I appreciate your response!

The only reason I am ON Facebook is for dog and horse related stuff. Might be a good idea to open an account just for that.
