Hi everyone,

Hope you're all doing well. It's Friday!! Wooohooooo!:rockon: What better a way to end a week then to enter a contest right?

We all love our dogs, but picking up after them is far from the highlight of our day. Fortunately, our friends at Tinoli Inc. have come up with a solution – Scoopita!

With Scoopita, you can say goodbye to the touch, smell and the bending down when you pick up after your dog. Scoopita is an easy to use, light, portable, extendable dog potty. Click here to see to the Scoopita in action.

We like the Scoopita so much we’re going to give ONE away. If you’d like a chance to take home a free Scoopita you’ve got to share with us your most embarrassing dog potty story. The wonderful folks at Scoopita will choose the winner and we will get in touch with you as to where to send you your Scoopita! Good luck everyone!

I hate to be that guy, but I really have to ask... Is this thing being advertised because the staff actually like it enough to do so, or because the company is a sponsor? I mean, you say "We love it so much!" but that sounds like Generic Advertising Line #7. Who is "we?" Does someone on the staff actually own one of these and can vouch for it? Or are we just hoping it works the way the company says it does? Are there going to start being contests out the wazoo for every sponsor, just because they're sponsors?

Contests will be on the new contest subforum. If you find them offensive, they will be very easy to avoid.

Here's my story. I don't actually care about prizes, but I think it's a pretty good story (and I've told it here before.)

We have a rule with our two dogs: What you find outside, stays outside. So when Molly showed up at the back door one cold winter day with a frozen turd in her mouth, I told her to please drop it outside. I was startled and pleased when she did (she has a serious stubborn streak,) and leaned over to congratulate and thank her.

That's when she jumped up and gave me a big wet kiss on the mouth.

I taught Dakota to poop in a plastic shopping bag. I hold it under her to catch it and she stays still. I hate cleaning poop, so I never get dirty. The other day she had explosive liquid poo, and I didn't realize it was as bad as it was till I tried to catch it. I jumped back and almost fell on my tush.

Oh no, we're going to be able to win free dog related products?! Who are these awful corporate people??

Anyhow, I'll retell my favorite Smalls tale, which is usually designed to scare folks away from puppies. ;) I don't know if we're looking for GROSSEST, but with her gross is all I have to work with.

When I picked up Smalls from the shelter, she was a 5 week old stray. She had a prolapsed rectum and ruptured intestines that were surgically corrected the second I got her. It was a rough surgery that she wasn't supposed to survived and left her with a chunk of missing intestines and the remaining intestines were tacked. She wouldn't be able to go to the bathroom for a few days with the swelling, but she tried constantly (which I had to interrupt so she wouldn't strain). I'm a big pushover and let her sleep on the floor in a little bedding area I made her, so I could have my arm off the side of the bed (which was only a foot or so off the ground) to comfort her through out the night.

I thought she could not get onto the bed and thus was cordoned off from the room. I learned this was wrong when she not only jumped onto the bed, but her flood gates opened all over my pillow. I woke up with bloody diarrhea all over my face and head- and I sleep with my mouth open.

Can that thing catch those kind of incidents? :D She also pooped an entire turd ON the wall. It looked like she had backed right up and pooped. It is a shame I lost the photo. We took a picture of it and photo shopped it to look like a framed painting on our wall.

I was working with a little dog I had several years ago teaching "drop it". She was horrible about picking up anything and everything she could get her mouth on. One evening I took her out to potty and she grabbed *something*. I held my hand out just under her mouth and said "drop it". To my surprise, she did! And thats when I realized she'd grabbed a piece of poop...

I now have dogs "drop it" directly onto the floor/ground when Im unsure what they've grabbed!

when brom was a little puppy he had a bad habit of picking up things from the ground and trying to eat them, like every puppy! we were working on lemme see (drop it) and he wasn't great at it at the time. well, we were walking down a street that we never walked down before and he found something that was VERY interesting to him. well, i knew that if it was very interesting to him then i didn't want him to have it. he wouldn't lemme see so i scooped the prize out of his mouth with my fingers only to find poop! i don't know if it was cat poop or dog poop but it was darn gross! we were so far from home and i didn't have anything to wipe my hands with so i had to wipe them in the snow and then put my poopy hand back into my mitten! when i got home i turned my mittens inside out and washed them in the washing machine with hot water and bleach!

My dogs don't eat poop, and in fact, Bella is a little OCD about making sure SHE doesn't touch it in any way, so she waddles WHILE she is pooping and leaves a little trail of poop.

Not really such a big deal except last night she apparently had a tummy ache. She woke me up at 2am to go outside which she never does, and then she tried waking me up later on too but I brushed her off. Well, she needed to go potty AGAIN, and instead did it on my carpeted bedroom floor ... diarrhea ... a trail of diarrhea about 3 feet long ... a trail that Laila stepped in before jumping on my bed, that I had just washed the bedding for on Sunday.

I found all this out when my daughter came into my room around 6:30am to tell me she had just cleaned up in her room after Laila pooped in there.

This is what happens when you switch food without easing into it.

My stories not as tramatic (I might have some nightmares tonight)as a lot of the other stories but I took Coal to a stream that allows dogs and everything went well until Coal decided to take a big poop in the middle of the stream...upstream from a few people wading in the water and a ton of dogs. I was so embarrassed as it floated down stream; I left immedietly. I still feel bad for not going out their and bagging it.

Okay, accidents are not a big thing for me to pick up after dealing with our dog Pepe he wasn't house trained when we first got him... So, one night we had a friend sleep over, we were awaken the next morning by her groans of disgust! Pepe pooped in the kitchen apparently it was fresh because not only did she step in it but she slid and fell right on her butt, her hands and backside we smeared in poop... I couldn't stop laughing I had to leave the room. My husband started roaring and he shut the bedroom door he couldn't stop either!

This has to be the best one yet...funniest anyway. Although TWAB would win the prize for the most disgustingly gross story.

Mines not very good but.
I was in the million paws walk in the part of the day where theres thousands of dogs. So I was just walking along with my little guy Charlie. When he stopped just at the side of the path and did a massive 'shut' and as I needed to pick it up (In front of the millions of people wandering past) I went to try get it when Charlie got embarrassed of it I suppose and decided he wouldn't go near it and he shook off his collar and made a run for it and I had to chase after him and in the end grabbed his tail and he stopped immediately and grabbed his body while people still walking were cracking up laughing.
Embarrassing :/
