My 13 week old Bichon wants to be hand fed. He will eat some from a small saucer but won't touch the stainless bowl. He acts afraid of the sound the bowls make when they raddle, so he eats from the food I toss to him on the floor. Will he get over this?

1st, why would your pup change being served in the manner you do? As to a bowel aversion, try a plate or small dish.

I have a lhasa who as a pup just did not like eating out of a bowel. I used a plate and booyah, she ate.

I agree with Vicky, it is the simplest approach. However, if you put the bowl on a rubber mat or a carpet, it may dampen the sound. My dog had a similar issue - hunger overcame the 'fear'.

Thanks I just wanted to make sure it is temp. I'm sure he'll eat when he gets hungry enough.
