Wow, that makes my heart ache. I'm glad to know that the other dog survived...but honestly...how many humans do you know that will do that? Dogs are simply amazing in their ability to be unselfish and loyal even in the most extreme circumstances. I'd probably surround myself with dogs instead of people if I could.
