dog pees in sleep.... can i help her?

My almost 2 year old beagle mix, Bella, constantly pees in her sleep. It gets very frustrating time after time. I realize she isn't doing it on purpose, I just feel bad for her. Is there anything I could possibly do for her so that she wont pee allover her self in the middle of the night.... and me?

Has she been diagnosed at the vet for incontinence? Because that could explain seemingly unexplainable sleep peeing and there are meds that can correct this.
Are you sure she's not waking up, peeing and then sleeping in it? In any case, a vet visit seems to be in order to rule out any health issues.
Yes, you need to talk to your vet about it. There are meds to help with that.
Probably spay incontinence. 2 options----doggy diapers or medications. My first dog has spay incontinence and we went for the diapers because the meds made her sick. There are more medication options now.
Thank you all to your replies.

No she does not get up in the middle of the night and lays back down... this happens even when she is napping and im keeping an eye on her.

I guess Iwill need to break down and take her to the vet... I would really hate to put her in diapers because i know she would shred them... she is only 2 so I will call and make an appointment at my vet.

Again Thank you all so much for your help!
Willow never shredded her diapers, and she was a huge chewer. They're pretty sturdy: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=14459

You can also try putting a pinch of parsley in her food. This really works for some dogs.
