Hello all,
I have a 6 and a half year old German Shepherd that's been house trained and never presented problems before, but lately, he's gotten into the habit of peeing in front of the main house door.
He has a whole yard to himself in front of the door, and no other dog or scent should be near it at all, yet he still pees there. And the moment he sees me walk out the door and notice it, he hides in his doghouse and refuses to come out, I'm guessing knowing he did a bad thing.
I'm really out of options at this point, I've tried sprays that are supposed to stop him from peeing there but they don't work as well and still no improvement.
The thing is, this all came out of the blue so I really don't understand what's wrong with him, I have a vet appointment scheduled soon but I don't know if that will help at all.
So here I am, basically begging for any possible pointers.
Thank you for reading all this and for any replies.
