Hello. Our family is considering getting a coton de tulear dog. Because they are so fluffy (and usually white) they require more grooming. I have a few questions.

How do you trim a coton de tulear?
When do you introduce him to bathing?
When do you introduce him to brushing? Nail clipping? Fur trimming?
Any good videos on how to trim nails?
Long or puppy cut?
What grooming supplies are good?
How do you trim the hair between the paw pads?

Any videos, links or explanations are fine. Sorry for all the questions, I really want the dog to be the happiest and healthiest he can be.

You will need to have a professional groomer to help you get your puppy started with grooming. They can show you how to correctly brush and comb and can explain different lengths and options. The longer the hair the more often the grooming needs. Cotons have coat just like their name. Lol Cotton. It gets matted just looking at it. You will need hands on tutorials on how to keep up the coat unless you prefer a short trim, which a groomer can do for you. :)
