There are doggy doors that can be paired with a device on the dog's collar to let the dog in or out, without allowing any other animals through. I don't believe it can be controlled remotely.

Depending on your location and your dog's breed, there are a number of risks involved in letting an unsupervised dog outdoors. I had a a dog that jumped over a five-foot fence and crashed through a wooden picket fence. (She just wanted to get to the other side to retrieve a ball.) Coyote's or other predictors are a threat even in many urban areas. Attractive dogs get stolen (and I assume yours is adorable) and even rather ordinary dogs get stolen to be used as bait dogs for fighting. I know of dogs being poisoned or otherwise harmed by irate neighbors who won't tolerate any barking. Even a call to animal control be inconvenient and expensive for the owner.

Yes, there is: Smart door - Smart Door Opener - Smart Pet Door | Wayzn

Controlled by an app. I have not used it myself, but there are options. Google "Smart Dog Door" and other things will probably pop up.

As RonE said, know the risks of letting the dog outdoors without supervision, or build an escape proof, predator proof, human thief proof enclosure.
