I have a terrier mix I adopted from a shelter who is well-behaved overall, but seems to have some serious anxiety and chewing problems. For some reason she loves chewing on random things like pens, blankets, plastic, etc. Most things I can keep out of her reach but it's extremely difficult to keep her away from any blankets, especially when I'm sleeping (she does sleep with me). I give her toys all the time but she will play with them for a few and then try to find something else to chew on instead. Anyone have any ideas on what I could do? I don't know if the chewing is an anxiety thing because she always has to be right next to me, and she's extremely protective of her things from my other dog, even if he doesn't go near her. She'll even find rocks or pieces of paper and acts like its her best friend for hours. Thanks for any help!
