A few days ago my sister took our dog to the house she nannys at do our dog could play with their dog. She said my dog acted exactly how it always does around other dogs and didn’t get hurt or scared during the visit. She was with the dog the whole time.

when my dog got back it seemed like it didn’t want to come back into the house like it was scared. Now he’s acting weird like hiding under the bed (which he’s never gone under the bed before) and not coming when we call him.
Usually he is always jumping on everyone and coming for attention. My mom has an in home day care so he is never alone.
Do i need to take him to the vet

Any sudden, unexplained change in behavior is a good reason to consult a vet.

I agree. Any sudden change like that warrants a vet consult.

I second these 2 comments. You can do as much research as you want but take it to a specialist. You don't have to go crazy and spend tons of money but be cautious. I hope you do find a solution. If you do want to do research go to youtube or google and find any videos you can dealing with Victoria Stillwell.

She had a few videos about dogs with these types of behavior. Hope you find a solution & restore comfort/confidence in your dog.
