Sometimes it just seems like Wally likes to mess with me - it's like he's in the mood for a "mental game" and I'm the "toy".

I say sit, and he folds into a down (yeah, he loves that now after hating it at first...go figure...). Then the next attempt, he sits and have the mischievous smirk on his face, like he's saying "just wanted to see if you'd give me the treat anyway". Same smirk when he tries to sneak in an "old" down instead of the "new" fold.

Yeah, I know, I'm imagining things, but it sure seems like sometimes he's playing some kind of canine mind game or just trying to see if he can get away with something.

Most definitely! They like to mess with me, AND each other... they're always playing pranks (like ringing the potty bell to watch me come running, then laugh at me) too! Part of why I wub these babies so much!

All the time! Especially when it's time for her to go to bed.She'll play deaf and go about her buisness and then look at me as if she's saying,"Oh,were you talking to me?"

let's see....4 Border Collies and mind games.....uhhh,, yup...and i think they are pros at it....Titch's fav is the ringing the bell to see if he can get me to "jump" or if he can get the other dogs to leave their bones so he can get them (Saoirse falls for that everytime but it really frustrates him cuz his mama, Tir, don't...he rings the bell and comes back to see if she left the bone/chew, goes back and rings and keeps on repeating....it's funny cuz you can see that Tir knows exactly what he's up to)
