Oh my gosh, I am so sorry about Ranger getting hit! I am sure your husband is devastated. Stay strong, sounds like you are doing all you can for Ranger.

Ranger was hit by car. I wasn't here! Dad had him. No matter He has brain injrury. I have him at home. I believe he is blind! 5 days until they do another neuro assesment. It is heartbreaking. I force feed him he has 3 fractures in his jaw & can't undergo surgery yet. Does anyone have any suggestions? he has been aT VHs for 5 days & neurosurgeon says we have to wait to see if he gets any better. He responds to me will get up when I say Lets go and knows to go to the bathroom outside( He is 1.5 yrs old) Doc said if he wasn't a pit bull he would surely be dead. His body is so strong, he got hit in the left side of the head. Never outside without a leash. He got loose from my husband ( dropped the leash) He is devestated!!!!
I need encouragement! It is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I am a dog trainer and did everything I could to keep him safe!!!! If anyone has any advice or stories or anything please let me know. I am trying to find a support group but can not!!!

I am sorry to hear this--my little girl was killed by a car not to long ago-and I was not home to witness it or help. Hang in there--Hope all works out--positive thoughts and prayers coming to you!!!

When they ( two of my neighbors helped) I knew I had to be strong because my husband was so upset( blood all over him) but now there is no one to comfort me and everyone thinks I am so strong! NO I AM NOT!!! I am dying inside!!!!!!!!
Ranger is showing that he wants to live. He is being strong. You will cry in anger, frustration, and pain. But you will be there for him!! Hug him for us all. Hug your husband, cry together. Things will work out. There are many prayers and good karma coming your way. Angels are watching over all of you. Just hang in there. * Hugs *

You will do what you have to do for Ranger.
Leave the rest of it to deal with after you know he is going to be ok. It's not important now.
Ranger is what is important.

Thanks so much all of your prayers were working....he is at home on the mend. A couple jaw fractures and blind in one eye...he still responds to my commands but Docs are worried about his smell. It is one day at a time. I am trying to learn as much as I can about rehabilitatilng a dog....any suggestions.

Hope Ranger pulls thru. He sounds like a fighter...Its ok to break down and cry if u need it..
