I hope the question sounds right i honestly didn't know how to say it. Haha, anyways my dog recently got spayed but the vet didn't really tell us anything. We got a post-surgery after care sheet but it wasn't much help. On my dog's incision i see dry blood and i was wondering am i suppose to clean the wound even if the staple are still there? Because on the care sheet it said no bathing or grooming and no liquid should get on the incision.

No, just leave it be unless you see signs of infection in which case call the vet. Give her a nice bath after she's all healed up.

I just left it - the dried blood will flake off once she gets back in the swing of things. Any that is left after healing will more than likely be cleaned up by your dog :)

But, a bath isn't a bad idea once everything is healed.
