My parents take our dogs to the vet to have them cleaned, and we have bones for them to chew on. I once got a dog toothbrush and toothpaste to try it myself, but the dogs all freaked out.

Upendi gets her teeth brushed a few times a week. And I must say she absolutely loves it. 
I use the Cain & Able vanilla toothpaste and I swear she thinks getting her teeth brushed is a treat. As soon as she sees the toothbrush comes out she starts showing off her tricks.
