I would see if you could email your vet the pictures, so that they could tell you. I'm NOT a vet, but it's possible that he's having a bit of a reaction to the internal sutures, which isn't uncommon.
Do these incisions from neuter look okay?
I have a 2 1/2 year old black Labrador retriever who is a cryptorchid. I had him neutered Wednesday morning and got him back Thursday morning. He is doing very well but I just want to make sure his incisions look okay. The vet didn’t tell me that much about how they are supposed to look and what is okay versus not okay, and that’s why I am asking here. However, I will still probably take him back to the vet again just to make sure. The first picture is from Thursday when he got back home. The second picture is from Thursday at 8:30pm. The third picture is from this morning, Friday. Any comments are greatly appreciated!!
