My puppy Buck (12 weeks old) has been with us for a week, we changed his food from pedigree to Blue. He started having diarrhea very badly, spoke to a vet nurse who told us to starve him a day and only give water and eltrolyte. Then give him rice and chicken in the evening.
So today we starved him, but late morning he started heaving and then stopped, but again heaved twice or thrice more. he is drinking water without any pain, and we gave him little rice in the evening. He heaved again. We took him outside and he is active and ran around. No fever. Is heaving a dangerous sign?

Yes, it can be dangerous. Puppies dehydrate very quickly. If you have an emergency clinic in your area, take him in, or else contact your vet for after hours care. It's always possible that he got ahold of something he shouldn't, and has an obstruction.
