So what the vet and I thought could possible be thyroid problems or food allergies is looking more like food allergies. Right now she is on a "allergy diet" nothing but TOTW Pacific Stream, Salmon Oil, & Zukes Mini Naturals (Salmon) as well as an immunity building supplement (added after improvement on just the fish diet). I guess my biggest question is what is the easiest way to find the protein (with out allergy tests) she's allergic to?

We've seen improvement in under a week with the new diet, I'm continuing that until the 24th (our next vet visit) and I will talk to the vet about it then as well.

My plan was to continue the TOTW-PS and add one new protein source/month with her canned food. In the order that the allergen is least likely to be? For example she had minor skin problems with the high prairie formula, when I switched to the wetlands formula it got exponentially worse. So I'm thinking chicken, eggs, duck, ect...could be the trigger.

BOLD=similarities between the allergy inducing formulas
Italics=similarities between allergy inducing and non-allergy inducing formula

High Prairie Formula
Bison, venison, lamb meal, chicken meal, egg product, sweet potatoes, peas, potatoes, canola oil, roasted bison, roasted venison, natural flavor, tomato pomace, ocean fish meal

Wetlands Formula
Duck, duck meal, chicken meal, egg product, sweet potatoes, peas, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols), potatoes, roasted quail, roasted duck, smoked turkey, natural flavor, tomato pomace, ocean fish meal

Pacific Stream Formula

Salmon, ocean fish meal, sweet potatoes, potatoes, canola oil, salmon meal, smoked salmon, potato fiber, natural flavor

So in this I think I can rule out ocean fish meal, sweet potatoes, potatoes, canola oil, natural flavor since those ingredients are used in all three flavors.

So the most likely allergens could be chicken meal, egg product, peas, & tomato pomace, used in both the WL & HP. And less likely bison, venison, lamb, duck, quail, turkey, since they are in one or the other?

Sounds like you have a good handle on it. Although it might be hard to nail down the exact problem ingredient or ingredients unless you can somehow add them back one at a time till you notice a reaction.

That being said... If your dog is doing much better on the Pacific stream and everything seems to be clearing up, you might just continue on with it and let it be at that.
