I got to take Roscoe to a dog festival the other day! He has started his heartworm treatment, but the first two months are really light doses and they gave him free reign to enjoy physical activities! Jackson doesn't have a dog park, so I was so happy that they had something that encouraged the community to bring their dogs together.

It was pretty hot, but the animal shelter that was helping sponsor it had water out for all the doggies.

They had a doggie parade. I was near the front so you can't see a lot of the dogs, but there were tons!

There was a costume contest and these little Shelties won. Luckily the owners only put the outfits on for the contest (about five minutes long) and then took them off. It was so hot yesterday!
