Hi all- long time no post. I recently added a new member to my pack, a one year old GSD/pit mix. (I think)
She is as sweet as can be and learning the ropes well.
One slightly problematic behavior we are working on is her chasing of the cats and/ or my sisters chi mix. Generally she is gentle with them and cuddles but she will definitely take chase and get a little mouthy. She doesn’t bite but she’ll just hold their head in her mouth.
ive been having some success with “leave it” and plan to take her to training class once we are out of lockdown but ive not bad experience with this in my other dogs.
any other tips on how to curb the chasing/ mouthiness?
