Crate training

Hello! I have a 2 months and a half Italian mastiff puppy. I've had him for almost 2 weeks and every night we put him in his crate. He's been crying these whole 2 weeks. It's really hard to sleep and I'm on the verge of going insane. I've tried everything, music, staying there to comfort him, peanut butter, toys, night lights.. I dont know what I'm doing wrong and I really need help. Thanks.
