Crate/Potty Advice

I have a 10 week old Shiba Inu puppy that is pretty much already crate and potty trained, however, I'm having a diffcult time figuring out when to let her go potty in the morning. As of now, I've been putting her in her crate between 10:30-11 p.m and letting her out anytime between 5:30 and 7:30 a.m., once I do that, I dont put her back in her crate, instead I fall asleep on the couch and she usually will fall asleep next to me. She only cries when she absolutely has to be let out to go potty and i've been trying to let her out before it gets to that point, as a result, I'm pretty much awake since 4 a.m. worrying that she might start crying to be let out. My question is, should I just pick a time in the morning, lets say 5 a.m., where I let her out whether she's crying to be let out or not? Or should I wait until she cries letting me know she has to go? Also, what is your advice about putting her back in her crate after she goes potty ? Is this fine or should i give her some time outside the crate since she's been in there all nigth? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

Is there any way to keep my puppy from barking all day if I crate her?

"Christmas" is a lab/collie mix and is almost 6 months old... I have to be gone several hours during the day and I just cannot handle having her bark all night long. I have heard that if we clean the carpets to get rid of the smell, it might help. I ordered some odor removal from www.pbgone.com today.

My vet said it was the best cleaner he could reccomend...

Is crating really the most effective method?

You can give your pup some quality time in morning lets just say somewhere between 15 to 30 minutes out with you after going out, no problem as long as you remember if you decide then to put her back in crate pup must be taken out again and then can go back in crate. At 10 weeks of age if I wanted to keep her out say 3 hrs every 30 minutes she would go out to do whatever she might have to do. For conversation sake let's say 2 hrs out she decides to nap, I would take her out and then she could be returned to crate for nap. You can adjust time as needed. any time you're to busy to watch pup crate her.
