Our first dog as a young married couple came from Battersea. She was anything between 3 and 5 years old badly beaten, filthy, she hid behind furniture and would never eat dry food.. But as she came to realise she was safe she blossomed, when we washed her the dirty brown dog turned into a shiny honey gold one with a huge plume of a tail, she loved the children and attention and she won rosettes in non pedigree dog shows. She loved all the attention and grooming .. Sheba 1982-1993
