Corgi Tail docking and etc.

Hello, I'm actually going to be trying to adopt a corgi but I heard most Corgi's are born with tails. I looked into some breeders who guarantee they dock tails and cut dew claws. Have you heard of any breeders who don't do this to corgis?
Preferably in Wisconsin? And, why is it so important? I don't plan to show my dog, but care for him and do my research about what he'll need.

I wanted a Brittany and they have docked tails. I contacted a local breeder and asked if I could get one not docked. He said sure, as long as I paid for it ahead of time and agreed to no refunds under any circumstances as he could not resell one with a natural tail.
I actually bought a Toller, so I don't know how it would have worked out.
Dewclaws are useless and get get caught. Clipping those is harmless enough.
