Hey Everyone!
I am visiting my parents house for Thanksgiving and I brought my dog, Jax.
My parent's dog (skylar) has a chipped tooth that formed an abscess.. She as a dental appointment at the vet to get it taken care of early next week.
Is is safe for Jax to drink water out of the same bowl as Skylar? I want to make sure he will not get sick from any bacteria that is causing Skylars abscess.
I know that Jax will not develop an abscess from sharing water with skylar. I am more concerned with him getting a systemic infection from exposure of the bacteria to his GI tract.
(** Side-Note- thankfully skylar is in no apparent sign of distress and is acting like her normal fun playful self.) I just want to make sure that Jax will not get sick from sharing water and toys with her.
