I've done grooming on a crested hairless for years, but this is the first time I've ever had to do the ears. When I showed my last hairless in Canada, doing the ears wasn't something I had to worry about: he had smaller ears, and it wasn't something that was common anyway. Now with this particular crested, he is from a British line, and has much larger ears. Besides that, it's quite common in this area (So Cal) to clip the ears bare to the base. I'm comfortable doing his face as I've done that for years as well, but I have never done the ear and apparently I need to do the inside of the ear as well.

Anyone have any experience doing this? I haven't done it yet as I'm really not sure how to go about it, particularly the inside.
