Citronella Candles

Hi All, it’s summer here in Australia and we have a lot of mosquitos. We are first time dog owners and wondering if we can burn our citronella candles outside to deter the mozzies without harming our little Emmie? She is 15 weeks old. TIA Bec

Exactly. I usually place those on my bookshelves so my pup won't get them (can't say the same about my cats though). Also, pestcontrolhacks.com says you can make make your own candles from old burned candles and some citronella/coconut oil mix.
