Is anyone battling chronic lyme with their dog? I give him abx and he is good for a while but then relapses. He can't take doxy or mino because he throws up. I am out of amox and vet wont prescribe more because tests show he doesn't have lyme. I think he still has it because when he becomes symptomatic, he gets better with abx and will sometimes exhibit herx reaction.
I really dont trust the lyme tests given how inaccurate they are for humans.
