Hey guys I was wondering of any of you guys use the invisible electric fence? My parents dogs, just recently the neighbours cats has been coming to our place and our feild which the dogs have free range on. (the neighbours deny and say their cats are trained to stay on their property) but anyways our dogs are chasing it home and end up in the neighbours yard and they have threatened to shot out dogs if they go there again, so we are looking into getting an electric fence for 4 acres or so? does anyone have any experiance with them?
Pros?
Cons?

Its pretty frustrating though, we are having to tie up our scotty that hates it and pouts the whole time. So hopefully we can come to a solution about this.

Take pictures and call them on it.

I haven't used an electronic fence, but I know other forum members have. Hopefully they'll share their experience.

If you're willing to get an electric fence for 4 acres, I think I'd just have a chain link fence built around a much smaller plot (1/2 acre). It may be your neighbor's responsibility to keep their cats on their property, but it's your responsibility to keep your dogs on yours.

I don't like electric fences and wouldn't advise one except in the most extreme circumstances.

Ha ha ha actually we have gotten a cat trap so hopefully we will catch one of the little buggers and can take it over and be like "so your cats are trained to stay on your property and not coming onto ours eh?"
