I've been told his is Chinook but I'm not so sure

Eh, maybe, but I really don't see it. The ears are too short, the face/body are a bit off to be a purebred Chinook. I love Chinooks, I think they're awesome. I see mostly Lab and something else in your dog. But he is cute!

Lab x ??? I feel like I know what the other bit is. The head and muzzle shape is really familiar . . . akita maybe?
