Pit or pit mix? They said she was terrier / pit bull terrier. I've never seen a pit this light brindle color. Is she full pit bull or mix? (It doesn't matter, just want to see what you all think)

She is having lots of fun with Sadie, and she's doing great. Only cries for about 10 seconds when she's left alone, has no problem going potty outside, and is tuckered out after she and Sadie ran laps around the yard and house. She's SUPER sweet. She's 8 weeks old, was named "Sable" (not a huge fan of that name). DH likes her, says she's cute.

The video shows her the best, but here are a few blurry photos. It was hard to get a shot of her face.

thoughs pictures are awfuly blurry and I have dial up so I can't watch the videos. but I'll hazard a guess with "Terrier type"
She is BEAUTIFUL. I would say she is probably a pit mix.

Sorry - I know, the lighting wasn't right for no flash, so it was blurry, but the flash ones she looks bright orange :(
I would guess that she's a dilute brindle of some flavor, but the color is definitely a normal pibble color.

On the mix thing? No clue.
Soooo cute :). I see she wouldn't sit still for the picture. I would say pit mix as well.
I have seen that lighter brindle on a few pure pits, however, I don't know for sure if that's a mix or not. Is your Eskimo a mini or standard? If she's a standard then it very well could be full pit, because she's a good sized puppy compared to Sadie. Sadie is also very beautiful. My parents have one, and it's a little overweight so it's nowhere near as pretty as yours.

Sadie is a mini, she's 20 lbs and about 15-16 inches. The puppy is 8 weeks, maybe 8 lbs?

Thank you, Sadie is my gorgeous little angel :)

Okay, then the puppy isn't quite as big as I thought she was. My parents is a standard so I was thinking it was a bigger dog. My puppy was about 8 pounds at 8 weeks as well, and she's about 20 now at 3 months and growing fast. Congrats though on the puppy I'm sure she will be a great dog when she grows up :)
even if she is part pit that would still make her a terrier lol just a fun thought
hard to say for certs at that age but she looks either mostly pit or pure. color standards for APBT are pretty loose...the only no no is merle... brindle pits come in a multitude of shades...
I agree with zim....ether mostly or pure pit

as for color I would say she is a blue brindle possibly.....she seems a little light to be a fawn brindle but its hard to tell from the vid

she is super cute!!....she looks like she is having lots of fun with Sadie
Thanks everyone!

The videos don't show it but she has a little white diamond on her chest too, very cute.

Oh and her toenails and nose are pink/red. I don't know enough about the color names and what not - wouldn't blue be more grey/blue than pink?

She slept through the night with no crying, pottied outside, and is now sitting in her playpen. :) Good puppy!

are we talking nose or toe nails?....

hmmm...I'm not great with the color to nose thing ether....spicey would probably know for sure!...maybe she will pop in...or shoot her a PM

yeah..so watched both vids......its hard to say with out seeing him up close...but yeah I leaning more away from the blue...maybe buckskin brindle..or even fawn brindle?????.......I could ask my PB forum people to see what they thought
Pink (dudly) nose means she's some sort of dilute. I would suspect she's a lilac/fawn/isabella brindle, which would lighten the fawn ground and the brindle striping would end up the pinky grey color of a weim. (All that would take was someone crossing 'blue nose' and 'red nose' pits, too).
Cool. I see a lot of pits and mixes in the store, but they are usually darker colors, or fawn without the brindle. That's why I thought she was a mix. Dogstar you'll get to see her soon :)
