Hello!

I am having trouble with my male dog.

He is about a year and a half, and fixed!! He is 3/4 pit and 1/4 chow. He gets along great with our other (female) dog and our 2 (female) cats. He does take some time to warm up to un-familiar people.

When we take him to the dog park and other male dogs come in as well, he want to bite. I dont know if it's because we see it coming, leash him, and the new male dog starts almost instigating it, or if that's just how he is?

I am worried because we are moving somewhere there is a male Chihuahua, and I don't want my dog to eat it!!! He really is amazing! The funniest dog I have ever had and it is tearing me up thinking I may have to let him go, so any ideas or suggestions in helping him would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you for reading!

I agree with the other posts, I have the exact problem with my fixed male dog Jack, and that's exactly what we do, always on a leash and we avoid parks and other male dogs constantly.
