Here’s the thing with crate training. When I put her in one, she tries to chew her way out the entire time leaving huge piles of slobber all over the floor in front of the cage. And she goes potty in the cage on a blanket or the puppy pad and licks it up. This is like impossible to stop. That’s why I left her to run the room so she would be more comfortable and not so confined. I strongly consider going back to the cage yesterday.
Boxer urinating
Every time I put my dog in her room. She urinates and then drinks it up. I got her from the Humane Society two years ago and it is not stopping no matter what I’ve tried. I don’t know her past, but any suggestions would be helpful. I’ve just been ignoring and mopping the floor.

It would be very helpful if Humane Society’s would actually give you some information about the dogs life, prior to you adopting. They knew, but they just wouldn’t tell me.Keep at the outdoor potty training. Be sure to stay outside long enough for the dog to completely empty.
Try crate training. Be sure to use a floor grid in the crate with absorbent pads in the tray. Crate the dog.
Meanwhile.....ignoring and mopping are the interim path. Don't punish. Punishment will likely lead to the dog hiding to go potty.
