I've had sam for about a year now, and I think he's starting to blow coat for the first time (Joy, right?). At the moment, there are two long strips on his back legs (same place on either leg) where the hair just falls out, in some places its almost to the skin. I just want to make sure thats normal, and I'm also wondering about any special care while this is going on.

Thanks!

Very normal. Some breeds blow their coat 2x a year. Daily brushing will help keep the dust bunnies to a minimum.

Yep, he's blowing. That's what LK looks like a few times a year. Sometimes he blows twice, sometimes three times, and no matter how much brushing I do he still has those puffs of fur that just fall out all over.
