No, I don't think there is a morning after pill. If I were you, I would spay her now. It's still very early on and while you don't have to rush her to the 24-hr vet right now per say, you should do it as quickly as possible.
Get her fixed first. That way, if something happens where you won't have the money next week, you won't have to put it off again.I will probably take her instead of wolfie tomorrow if the vet allows it. I only have the money for one dog to get fixed until next week, or do you think it would be fine if she went to the vet next friday to get fixed, since this just occured.
thanks for the compliment. I got a hold of the vet's office this evening, the secretary was returning answering machine messages. She is going to be fixed tomorow.Get her fixed first. That way, if something happens where you won't have the money next week, you won't have to put it off again.
There is some debate about whether it's better to wait until a male dog is older to neuter anyway, so I don't see that it would hurt much to wait a bit with him. Just be responsible and keep him away from other bitches in heat.
BTW, he's AMAZINGLY beautiful!!
This just happened to me.Have your vet spay your bitch, and opt for the spay rather than the shot. Even though your males are neutered, they will still mate with her, putting her at greater risk for pyometra.
thanks for the comments. It was a troublesome few days but I am glad its taken care of.That's awesome that you took care of business so quickly. Even though you had the accident, good to see you handle it responsibly. And, I'm glad the posters to this thread were supportive and didn't attack you for the mistake in the first place. Glad to see this resolved so quickly.
Beautiful dogs BTW.
I just HAD to tell you how stunning i think your boy is!!!!!! I think im in love![]()
