We have a bichon mix we adopted about a year ago. He is a little over a year old and a few month ago started having diarrhea with blood in it. He has been to the vet twice, ran blood, urine and fecal tests and nothing comes up as something that is wrong. Our vet has given us multiple drugs but nothing seems to help. We have changed his diet and ensure he doesn’t get human food but no change with that either. He is having to go out every 3-4 hours even in the middle of the night. Does anyone have any suggestions about what this could be or something we could do to help him?

Since you have been to a vet I will share my experience. My Pit was having bloody diarrhea for months, we also did a lot of tests, the only thing that came back was high level of bacteria in her stool. She was diagnosed with IBS. After trying many many brands of kibble and daily probiotics the only thing that helped her was a raw diet, we did that for 2 years and she did fabulously. Recently I found a kibble that she is doing well on. Have you tried a limited ingredient dogs food?
